Combat brake
The stacked disc material is an original PEUX formula. Even in very humid or rainy conditions, this combination offers wonderful sensations. The fluidity of rotation is appreciable at any setting.
How do you use it?
The drag is used for line retrieval in fighting situations. Very easy to adjust with the device shown in the photograph, it will prevent the fish from breaking the leaders and allow the angler to recover or maintain line tension.
The PEUX brake can be adjusted even during the fight, allowing the angler to fine-tune his settings in real time.
Adjustable foot
The foot of the FULGOR reel is swivel-mounted, so you can easily adjust the angle of the retrieve lever to suit your needs.
Coil extraction system
The FULGOR reel features a simple, efficient and ultra-fast spool extraction system.
Simply unclip the spool from its hub by exerting pressure on the spool with your fingers, from the inside out.

I'm really impressed by how smooth the drag is. I took it to the Whakapapa here in NZ, it's known for large angry, powerful fish. Drag was smooth through out a 7 minute fight, on light tippet. Landed a 5 pound rainbow on 5x. I feel like the 3metre line pick up is conservative, as it sucked up the whole 10 metres I had out!
